only 1 problem.

a music turn off button.
almost all of the games i've played has this feature, and this game with it would make it perfect.

Made from scratch, eh?

most games i see with this quality games are usually just from a flash tutorial and they're just copied and pasted.
Since this was made from scratch, however, it is actually quite good.
the 8bit styled graphics were good, but the music throws it off. it just doesn't fit.
if you have an 8bit styled game, you need 8bit music too.

Decent.

...for a snake game.
however, it has it's glitches.
When the music stops, it doesn't start up again, unless you toggle the music twice.
and sometimes the apple appears on the character, which really doesn't help.

Well...

i really just seems like a game with a lot of "random" functions, and i know a lot about flash gaming (none uploaded yet, i'm working on one now though).
it is actually a bit enjoyable, but it seems poor.
i shouldn't really be that hard on it, but practicing flash is what beginners should do.
Newgrounds is the real thing.
it still isn't THAT bad, except for the repetitive music and the fact that you can't move diagonally except for up-right (wtf?).
the power ups don't really scream out "i am a shield!" or "i am a health item!" they just seem like multicolored fruit things.
other than that, the art is good, but not perfect. it seems too symmetrical, and boring. the backround is good though.
and if this was just a copy-paste actionscript code, it would definentally get a 0. but with the art and the multi enemies, this gets a 4/10.

i just beat the game, and it was awesome.
but it needs a save feature, just in case someone accidentally quits it. because it is quite a long game.
it took me 43 days to complete.

it took me forever, but i finally got the last medal!
this was awesome, definentally a 5/5 for that. :D
